Since it seems to be doing the rounds

Thought I'd post this since sore throats seem to be doing the rounds just now.

Soothe the pain of a sore throat with marshmallow tea

You'll need:

250ml (8fl oz) water
1 teaspoon marshmallow root
1 teaspoon chopped fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon dried peppermint

What to do:

Simmer the marshmallow root and ginger root for five minutes in water in a covered pot. Remove from the heat, add peppermint, cover, and steep for an additional ten minutes. Strain, sweeten if desired, and drink as often as needed.
